Partial Hospitalization, also known as "PHP" or Day Treatment, is a form of drug and alcohol rehabilitation program that is meant to deal with substance abuse issues and psychological disorders which may be co-occurring. In a PHP program, the treatment client in rehabilitation partakes in various rehab activities and techniques during the day and then returns home in the night time. This is done several days a week, depending on the seriousness of the problem. Partial Hospitalization can be beneficial for drug addicted men and women in Yorktown who may not be able to pay for long-term inpatient rehab, or for treatment clients who are not able to be away from their home and work for prolonged lengths of time.
