Partial Hospitalization, sometimes referred to as "PHP" or Day Treatment, is a form of alcohol and drug rehab facility which works to treat drug and alcohol addiction problems and psychological disorders which may be co-occurring. In a PHP program, the treatment client in rehab takes part in a variety of rehab services and techniques during the day and then returns home in the evening time. This is done several days a week, depending on the severity of the drug or alcohol problem.
