Partial Hospitalization, also known as "PHP" or Day Treatment, is a type of alcohol and drug rehabilitation facility that works to deal with drug and alcohol addiction issues and psychological problems which may be co-occurring. In a PHP center, the individual in rehab participates in a number of rehabilitation services and strategies in the daytime and then returns home in the evening time. This is carried out several days a week, all dependent on the severity of the drug problem.
