Centers known as Partial Hospitalization or Day Treatment centers are offered to certain individuals in Windham who are having difficulties with co-occurring alcohol and drug abuse and psychological problems. These types of facilities can be helpful to specific rehab clients in Windham that might not be able to have the money to pay for inpatient care, or who are not able to take part in an inpatient program because of personal obligations. Partial hospitalization centers work with the client in the daytime through therapy and other rehab strategies, and the individual goes home in the evening. Rehab is carried out anywhere from five to seven days per week on an intensive plan which seeks to fully rehabilitate the person both physically and psychologically.
