Partial Hospitalization, sometimes referred to as "PHP" or Day Treatment, is a type of drug and alcohol rehabilitation program which works to treat substance abuse issues and mental health problems which may be co-occurring. In a PHP program, the individual in rehabilitation takes part in a variety of treatment services and techniques in the day and then returns home in the evening time. This is done anywhere from five to seven days a week, depending on the significance of the problem. Partial Hospitalization can be beneficial for drug addicted men and women in Winchester who who may be unable to cover the costs of long-term inpatient rehab, or for treatment clients who are unable to be away from their households for extended lengths of time. While in Day Treatment, treatment clients take part in traditional treatment services for alcohol or drug addiction issues while simultaneously addressing psychological disorders which could keep them from staying sober after rehab is complete.
