Partial Hospitalization, also known as "PHP" or Day Treatment, is a kind of drug and alcohol rehabilitation facility which works to treat substance abuse disorders and psychological issues which may possibly be co-occurring. In a PHP facility, the person in treatment participates in a variety of rehab activities and approaches in the day and then leaves in the evening. This is done several days per week, all dependent on the significance of the problem.
