Partial Hospitalization, also known as "PHP" or Day Treatment, is a kind of alcohol and drug rehab program which works to treat drug addiction disorders and mental health issues which may be co-occurring. In a PHP program, the treatment client in rehabilitation participates in a number of treatment services and approaches in the daytime and then returns home in the evening. This is done anywhere from five to seven days a week, all dependent on the severity of the drug problem.
