Partial Hospitalization, sometimes referred to as "PHP" or Day Treatment, is a form of alcohol and drug treatment center that is meant to handle substance abuse problems and psychological issues which might be co-occurring. In a PHP facility, the treatment client in rehab takes part in a number of rehab services and strategies in the day and then returns home in the evening. This is done anywhere from five to seven days per week, all dependent on the severity of the drug problem.
