Partial Hospitalization, sometimes called "PHP" or Day Treatment, is a form of drug treatment program which is meant to treat substance abuse disorders and mental health disorders which may be co-occurring. In a PHP center, the person in rehab partakes in a number of treatment activities and approaches in the daytime and then leaves in the evening. This is done anywhere from five to seven days a week, all dependent on the severity of the problem. Partial Hospitalization can be helpful for drug or alcohol addicted people in West Leisenring who may not be able to cover the costs of long-term inpatient care, or for those who are unable to be away from their households for prolonged durations of time. While in Day Treatment, people participate in standard counseling and therapy for alcohol or drug addiction issues while also overcoming mental health problems which may deter them from remaining abstinent after treatment is complete.
