Partial Hospitalization, sometimes referred to as "PHP" or Day Treatment, is a type of alcohol and drug rehab center which works to deal with drug and alcohol addiction issues and psychological problems which may be co-occurring. In a PHP center, the individual in treatment takes part in various rehabilitation activities and strategies in the day and then leaves in the night time. This is done several days per week, depending on the severity of the drug problem.
