Partial Hospitalization, also known as "PHP" or Day Treatment, is a form of drug and alcohol rehab program which works to treat drug and alcohol addiction problems and psychological disorders which may be co-occurring. In a PHP facility, the individual in rehabilitation participates in a number of rehabilitation activities and approaches in the day and then returns home in the evening time. This is done anywhere from five to seven days per week, all dependent on the seriousness of the drug problem.
