Partial Hospitalization, sometimes referred to as "PHP" or Day Treatment, is a form of drug and alcohol treatment center which works to deal with substance abuse problems and mental health problems which may be co-occurring. In a PHP facility, the person in rehab participates in a number of treatment activities and techniques during the day and then returns home in the night time. This is done anywhere from five to seven days per week, all dependent on the seriousness of the problem.
