Partial Hospitalization, sometimes referred to as "PHP" or Day Treatment, is a type of drug rehabilitation facility which works to handle drug and alcohol addiction issues and mental health problems which may be co-occurring. In a PHP center, the person in treatment takes part in a number of rehabilitation activities and strategies in the daytime and then leaves in the night time. This is done anywhere from five to seven days per week, depending on the significance of the drug or alcohol problem.
