Partial Hospitalization, sometimes called "PHP" or Day Treatment, is a form of alcohol and drug rehabilitation center which works to treat drug addiction problems and mental health problems which may be co-occurring. In a PHP center, the individual in rehab takes part in a number of rehabilitation activities and approaches during the day and then leaves in the night time. This is done several days a week, all dependent on the seriousness of the drug or alcohol problem.
