Centers which go by the name of Partial Hospitalization or Day Treatment centers are available to certain men and women in Victoria who are struggling with co-occurring drug and alcohol abuse and mental health disorders. These types of centers may be helpful to those rehab clients in Victoria who may not be able to have the money to pay for inpatient treatment, or who are not able to take advantage of an inpatient center because of personal responsibilities. Partial hospitalization programs treat the client in the daytime through therapy and other rehabilitation methods, and then the client goes home in the evening. Rehab is performed anywhere from five to seven days per week on an intensive plan which is aimed at fully rehabilitating the client both physically and psychologically.
