Partial Hospitalization, sometimes referred to as "PHP" or Day Treatment, is a type of alcohol and drug rehab center that is meant to deal with substance abuse issues and psychological problems which may be co-occurring. In a PHP program, the individual in rehab takes part in a number of rehabilitation activities and approaches in the day and then returns home in the night time.
