Partial Hospitalization, also known as "PHP" or Day Treatment, is a kind of drug and alcohol rehabilitation program that is meant to treat substance abuse problems and psychological issues which may be co-occurring. In a PHP center, the person in treatment takes part in a variety of treatment activities and strategies during the day and then returns home in the evening time. This is done anywhere from five to seven days per week, all dependent on the seriousness of the drug problem. Partial Hospitalization can be beneficial for drug or alcohol addicted individuals in Vernon who may not be able to pay for long-term inpatient treatment, or who are unable to be apart from their families for extensive lengths of time.
