Partial Hospitalization, sometimes referred to as "PHP" or Day Treatment, is a form of alcohol and drug treatment program which works to deal with drug addiction issues and mental health problems which may be co-occurring. In a PHP facility, the individual in rehab takes part in a number of treatment activities and techniques in the daytime and then returns home in the evening. This is carried out several days per week, all dependent on the seriousness of the drug or alcohol problem. Partial Hospitalization can be beneficial for addicted men and women in Valley View who who may be unable to afford long-term inpatient treatment, or for treatment clients who are not able to be apart from their families for extensive lengths of time. While in Day Treatment, individuals take part in traditional counseling and therapy for addiction issues while also addressing psychological problems which could keep them from remaining sober once rehabilitation is complete.
