Rehabilitating individuals who are addicted and dependent to drugs and/or alcohol and have found their way into the criminal justice system has proven to be effective in curbing future drug related crimes by those that do become rehabilitated. For criminal justice clients in Uvalda, Georgia that do agree to take part in treatment in drug and alcohol treatment centers, even un-voluntarily as is often ordered by the court, these clients have a significantly better shot of addressing the crux of the problem so that they can stay sober and away from being implicated in drug related crimes.
