Partial Hospitalization, sometimes called "PHP" or Day Treatment, is a form of alcohol and drug treatment facility that works to handle drug addiction issues and psychological problems which might be co-occurring. In a PHP facility, the individual in rehab partakes in a variety of rehab services and approaches in the daytime and then leaves in the night time. This is done several days a week, depending on the significance of the drug problem. Partial Hospitalization can be beneficial for drug or alcohol addicted individuals in Upper Arlington who are unable to afford long-term inpatient care, or who are unable to be apart from their families for extended lengths of time. While in Day Treatment, individuals participate in standard treatment services for drug and alcohol addiction problems while simultaneously addressing psychological issues which could keep them from staying abstinent after treatment is complete.
