Partial Hospitalization, also known as "PHP" or Day Treatment, is a form of drug and alcohol rehabilitation facility which is meant to handle drug addiction issues and psychological problems which might be co-occurring. In a PHP facility, the individual in treatment partakes in a variety of treatment activities and approaches during the day and then returns home in the evening. This is done anywhere from five to seven days per week, all dependent on the seriousness of the problem.
