Partial Hospitalization, also known as "PHP" or Day Treatment, is a form of drug rehab facility which is meant to handle substance abuse problems and psychological problems which might be co-occurring. In a PHP program, the treatment client in rehabilitation takes part in a number of rehab activities and approaches in the daytime and then leaves in the evening. This is done anywhere from five to seven days a week, depending on the seriousness of the drug problem.
