Partial Hospitalization, sometimes called "PHP" or Day Treatment, is a type of drug and alcohol treatment program which works to handle drug addiction disorders and psychological disorders which may possibly be co-occurring. In a PHP facility, the person in rehab takes part in various rehabilitation activities and approaches during the day and then leaves in the night time. This is done several days per week, depending on the seriousness of the drug problem.
