By means of early intervention, pregnant and postpartum women in Towanda who are struggling with drug or alcohol addiction can forego any serious consequences for themselves and their babies by getting helpful drug and alcohol abuse treatment. There are various drug and alcohol rehabilitation centers around the Towanda area which have rehab curriculum and rehab facilities developed around the needs and problems that pregnant and postpartum currently pregnant are faced with in the course of treatment. For those expectant mothers and postpartum currently pregnant who are lucky enough to receive alcohol and drug abuse rehab, their lives and the futures of their unborn child or newborn child will not be jeopardized and they will have the ability to make a fresh start.
