Native Americans and Alaska Natives have much very high rates of abuse and addiction than other ethnicities, an an issue which should be addressed for these cultures to endure. While the causes may vary from individual to person, the majority of of the causes for the significantly higher rates of abuse amongst Native American and Alaska Natives are cultural ones.
