Partial Hospitalization, also known as "PHP" or Day Treatment, is a form of alcohol and drug treatment program that works to treat substance abuse disorders and mental health disorders which may be co-occurring. In a PHP facility, the person in treatment partakes in a variety of rehab activities and approaches in the daytime and then returns home in the night time. This is done anywhere from five to seven days a week, all dependent on the significance of the problem.
