Centers known as Partial Hospitalization or Day Treatment centers are available to certain people in Tokio who are having difficulties with co-occurring alcohol and drug abuse and mental health issues. These types of centers can be helpful to those rehab clientele in Tokio who may not be able to afford inpatient care, or who are not able to take advantage of an inpatient facility due to familial obligations. Partial hospitalization centers work with the individual during the day through therapy and other rehab methods, and the individual goes home in the PM. Treatment is performed nearly each day of the week on an intensive plan which seeks to fully rehabilitate the person both physically and psychologically.
