Partial Hospitalization, also known as "PHP" or Day Treatment, is a kind of drug and alcohol rehab program which is meant to handle substance abuse disorders and psychological disorders which might be co-occurring. In a PHP program, the person in treatment participates in a number of treatment services and methods during the day and then returns home in the evening time. This is done anywhere from five to seven days per week, depending on the significance of the problem.
