Partial Hospitalization, also known as "PHP" or Day Treatment, is a form of drug and alcohol rehab program that is meant to deal with substance abuse problems and mental health problems which may be co-occurring. In a PHP program, the individual in rehabilitation partakes in a number of rehab activities and approaches in the daytime and then returns home in the evening. This is done anywhere from five to seven days a week, depending on the severity of the drug or alcohol problem. Partial Hospitalization can be helpful for drug or alcohol addicted individuals in Tigard who are unable to pay for long-term inpatient care, or who are unable to be apart from their home for extended durations of time.
