Programs known as Partial Hospitalization or Day Treatment facilities are offered to certain individuals in Tahoe City who are fighting co-occurring drug and alcohol abuse and psychological disorders. These types of programs may be beneficial to specific rehabilitation clientele in Tahoe City who may not be able to have the money to pay for inpatient treatment, or who are not able to take part in an inpatient center due to personal obligations. Partial hospitalization programs work with the client during the day through therapy and other rehabilitation methods, and then the client goes home in the PM. Treatment is carried out nearly each day of the week on a tailored program which is aimed at fully rehabilitating the person both body and mind.
