Partial Hospitalization, also known as "PHP" or Day Treatment, is a type of alcohol and drug rehab program that is meant to deal with substance abuse problems and psychological disorders which may be co-occurring. In a PHP program, the treatment client in rehabilitation partakes in a variety of rehab activities and techniques in the day and then returns home in the evening time. This is done anywhere from five to seven days per week, all dependent on the significance of the problem. Partial Hospitalization can be beneficial for drug or alcohol addicted people in Sunset Beach who are unable to pay for long-term inpatient treatment, or who are not able to be away from their households for extended periods of time.
