Partial Hospitalization, sometimes referred to as "PHP" or Day Treatment, is a type of alcohol and drug rehabilitation facility which is meant to treat drug addiction disorders and psychological disorders which may be co-occurring. In a PHP facility, the person in rehab participates in a number of rehabilitation activities and strategies during the day and then leaves in the evening time.
