Partial Hospitalization, also known as "PHP" or Day Treatment, is a type of drug and alcohol treatment facility that is meant to deal with drug addiction problems and psychological problems which might be co-occurring. In a PHP program, the individual in rehabilitation takes part in a number of rehabilitation activities and methods in the day and then returns home in the evening time. This is done several days per week, all dependent on the severity of the problem.
