Partial Hospitalization, sometimes referred to as "PHP" or Day Treatment, is a form of alcohol and drug treatment center that is meant to handle substance abuse problems and mental health disorders which may possibly be co-occurring. In a PHP center, the individual in treatment partakes in a number of treatment activities and approaches in the day and then leaves in the evening.
