Partial Hospitalization, sometimes called "PHP" or Day Treatment, is a form of drug rehabilitation center which is meant to treat substance abuse issues and psychological disorders which might be co-occurring. In a PHP facility, the person in treatment takes part in various treatment activities and approaches in the daytime and then leaves in the evening. This is done anywhere from five to seven days a week, depending on the seriousness of the drug problem.
