Partial Hospitalization, sometimes referred to as "PHP" or Day Treatment, is a kind of alcohol and drug rehabilitation center which is meant to handle substance abuse disorders and psychological issues which might be co-occurring. In a PHP center, the person in rehabilitation takes part in a number of treatment activities and strategies in the day and then returns home in the night time. This is done several days per week, all dependent on the severity of the drug problem.
