Partial Hospitalization, sometimes referred to as "PHP" or Day Treatment, is a form of alcohol and drug rehab program which is meant to treat drug and alcohol addiction issues and mental health disorders which may be co-occurring. In a PHP center, the individual in rehab participates in a number of rehabilitation services and strategies during the day and then leaves in the evening time. This is done anywhere from five to seven days per week, depending on the seriousness of the drug problem.
