Centers known as Partial Hospitalization or Day Treatment centers are offered to certain men and women in Southport who are struggling with co-occurring drug and alcohol abuse and mental health issues. These types of programs can be beneficial to specific rehabilitation clientele in Southport that might not be able to have the money to pay for inpatient care, or who are not able to take advantage of an inpatient center because of familial obligations. Partial hospitalization programs work with the client in the daytime through counseling and other rehabilitation techniques, and the individual returns home in the PM. Rehab is carried out anywhere from five to seven days per week on a tailored plan which is aimed at fully rehabilitating the person both physically and mind.
