Partial Hospitalization, also known as "PHP" or Day Treatment, is a form of drug and alcohol rehabilitation facility that works to treat substance abuse issues and mental health problems which may be co-occurring. In a PHP program, the individual in rehab takes part in a variety of rehabilitation activities and strategies in the daytime and then returns home in the evening time. This is done several days per week, all dependent on the significance of the drug problem.
