Partial Hospitalization, also known as "PHP" or Day Treatment, is a form of drug and alcohol treatment facility that works to handle substance abuse issues and psychological issues which might be co-occurring. In a PHP center, the individual in treatment participates in a variety of rehab services and methods in the daytime and then returns home in the evening. This is done anywhere from five to seven days a week, all dependent on the seriousness of the drug problem.
