Partial Hospitalization, also known as "PHP" or Day Treatment, is a form of drug rehabilitation center which works to treat drug and alcohol addiction disorders and psychological issues which may be co-occurring. In a PHP center, the individual in treatment takes part in a number of treatment services and techniques during the day and then leaves in the night time. This is done several days a week, depending on the severity of the drug or alcohol problem.
