Partial Hospitalization, sometimes referred to as "PHP" or Day Treatment, is a kind of alcohol and drug rehab program which works to treat substance abuse problems and mental health issues which may be co-occurring. In a PHP program, the person in rehabilitation partakes in a number of treatment activities and strategies during the day and then leaves in the evening.
