Partial Hospitalization, sometimes referred to as "PHP" or Day Treatment, is a form of drug and alcohol rehab program that is meant to deal with drug and alcohol addiction problems and psychological issues which may be co-occurring. In a PHP facility, the individual in rehab participates in a number of treatment activities and methods in the day and then returns home in the evening time. This is done several days a week, all dependent on the significance of the problem. Partial Hospitalization can be most effective for drug or alcohol addicted men and women in Sebasco Estates who are unable to cover the costs of long-term inpatient treatment, or for treatment clients who are unable to be apart from their home and work for extended durations of time. While in Day Treatment, treatment clients participate in standard counseling and therapy for drug and alcohol addiction issues while at the same time addressing mental health problems which could keep them from remaining abstinent after rehabilitation is done.
