Partial Hospitalization, also known as "PHP" or Day Treatment, is a type of drug and alcohol rehab program which works to treat substance abuse problems and mental health problems which may possibly be co-occurring. In a PHP facility, the person in treatment participates in a variety of treatment activities and approaches during the day and then returns home in the night time.
