Partial Hospitalization, sometimes referred to as "PHP" or Day Treatment, is a form of drug and alcohol rehab center which is meant to treat drug addiction disorders and mental health disorders which might be co-occurring. In a PHP facility, the treatment client in treatment participates in various rehab activities and approaches during the day and then returns home in the night time. This is done anywhere from five to seven days a week, depending on the seriousness of the drug or alcohol problem. Partial Hospitalization can be helpful for addicted persons in Schriever who who may be unable to pay for long-term inpatient care, or who are not able to be apart from their households for extended periods of time. While in Day Treatment, treatment clients participate in traditional treatment services for drug and alcohol addiction issues while simultaneously addressing psychological disorders which could keep them from staying abstinent after treatment is complete.
