Partial Hospitalization, also known as "PHP" or Day Treatment, is a type of drug and alcohol rehab facility which works to deal with substance abuse problems and psychological problems which may be co-occurring. In a PHP program, the treatment client in rehabilitation participates in a variety of rehab services and methods in the daytime and then returns home in the evening. This is done several days a week, depending on the seriousness of the problem.
