Partial Hospitalization, sometimes called "PHP" or Day Treatment, is a form of alcohol and drug rehabilitation facility that works to treat substance abuse issues and psychological problems which may possibly be co-occurring. In a PHP facility, the individual in rehab takes part in a number of treatment services and methods during the day and then returns home in the evening time. This is done anywhere from five to seven days per week, all dependent on the seriousness of the problem. Partial Hospitalization can be most effective for drug addicted men and women in Salisbury who are unable to pay for long-term inpatient rehab, or for those who are unable to be apart from their households for prolonged periods of time.
