Partial Hospitalization, sometimes called "PHP" or Day Treatment, is a form of drug and alcohol rehabilitation center which is meant to treat drug addiction problems and psychological problems which may be co-occurring. In a PHP center, the person in rehabilitation partakes in various rehabilitation activities and approaches during the day and then returns home in the night time. This is carried out several days a week, depending on the seriousness of the drug problem.
