Partial Hospitalization, also known as "PHP" or Day Treatment, is a form of drug rehab facility that is meant to handle substance abuse problems and mental health issues which may be co-occurring. In a PHP program, the individual in treatment participates in various rehab activities and strategies in the daytime and then leaves in the evening. This is done anywhere from five to seven days a week, depending on the significance of the drug or alcohol problem. Partial Hospitalization can be helpful for drug addicted men and women in Robinson who are unable to pay for long-term inpatient care, or for treatment clients who are unable to be apart from their households for extensive durations of time. While in Day Treatment, treatment clients participate in traditional treatment services for drug and alcohol addiction issues while simultaneously overcoming psychological problems which may deter them from remaining abstinent once rehabilitation is done.
