Programs known as Partial Hospitalization or Day Treatment facilities are offered to those individuals in Riverdale who are having difficulties with co-occurring drug and alcohol abuse and mental health problems. These types of centers may be effective to specific treatment clients in Riverdale who may not be able to afford inpatient care, or who are unable to take advantage of an inpatient facility due to familial responsibilities. Partial hospitalization programs work with the client during the day through therapy and other rehabilitation methods, and then the client goes home in the PM. Treatment is performed nearly each day of the week on an intensive program which seeks to fully rehabilitate the person both body and psychologically.
